Minutes of directors meetings and reports of the Inspectors of company elections, 1809-1858, of the Minisink and Montgomery Turnpike Road Company of New York State. Minutes record resolutions and proposals pertaining to company elections, subscription sales, credits to company shareholders, the surveying of proposed road routes, contracts for road construction and the progress of road construction projects, treasurer's reports, audits, and the surrendering of roadways in favor of making them free roads. Also included are statements certifying the ownership and sale of company shares, official election inspection reports, and inserted certificates for shares in company stock purchased by James Finch of Deer Park, New York. Individual company officers include: Samuel Coleman, James Finch, Zopher Finch, William Hurton, David Mason, Charles Lindsey, Benjamin Sears, and Alsop Vail.
